VACANCY: CCTV TECHNICIAN
A dynamic security company based in Centurion (Eldoraigne) is seeking the services of a committed and hardworking CCTV Technician to assist with the following duties:
Minimum Requirements:
¨ Grade 12
¨ Minimum of 5 (Five) years of work experience in CCTV and Biometrics System Projects in the security industry.
¨ Valid driver’s license.
¨ NQF 6/7 Electrical Engineering Diploma or Degree (advantageous)
¨ Must know about the Security Industry
¨ PSIRA rRegistrationCertificate
¨ Certificate in Network Cabling Installer (CNCI)
¨ Strong understanding of video surveillance systems and associated technologies
¨ Experience using relevant technology and equipment (CCTV)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install CCTV cameras and surveillance systems in various locations.
- Maintain and repair existing CCTV systems.
- Perform regular system inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with CCTV equipment.
- Collaborate with security and IT team to integrate and maintain surveillance systems.
- Provide training and support to end-users on system operation.
- Document system configurations, maintenance activities, and service logs.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in video surveillance.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, community, SAPS, and outside stakeholders
