Purpose Statement:

Our purpose is to welcome and assist customers at our branches, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service. This includes assisting customers at the ATM and conducting transactions through various service channels. By doing so, you will gain the knowledge and experience necessary for service consulting.

Experience:

  • No prior experience is required, but applicants must have a Grade 12 National Certificate.
  • Some customer service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment is preferred.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational.
  • Ideal or Preferred Qualifications: None specified.

Knowledge:

  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to engage with people and communicate effectively.
  • Clear understanding of personal boundaries, ambition, and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of bank branch operations.
  • Familiarity with Capitec Bank products and internal business processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must have a clear criminal and credit record.
  • Fingerprints must be recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
