EPWP 2025 Programme Details

Available Roles and Responsibilities
The EPWP 2025 Joburg Market offers a variety of roles suitable for individuals with Grade 10 or Grade 12 qualifications. Below are the positions available:
1. General Workers (50 Posts)
- Qualifications: Grade 10
- Responsibilities:
- Cleaning platforms, compactors, rocker bins, and floors.
- Managing and emptying waste bins following Health and Safety Standards.
- Qualifications: Grade 10
- Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing various spaces.
- Cleaning offices, kitchens, stairs, and bathrooms.
- Replenishing bathroom and kitchen supplies.
3. Platform Wardens (Security) (10 Posts)
- Qualifications: Grade 12
- Responsibilities:
- Conducting security patrols.
- Controlling access and exit points for pedestrians and vehicles.
- Enforcing Joburg Market By-Laws.
4. Maintenance Assistants (10 Posts)
- Qualifications: Grade 10
- Responsibilities:
- Unblocking toilets and fixing plumbing issues.
- Performing general repair and maintenance tasks.
5. Consignment Gate Controllers (10 Posts)
- Qualifications: Grade 12
- Responsibilities:
- Verifying delivery notes.
- Stopping and searching delivery trucks.
- Directing delivery vehicles efficiently.
6. Marketing Assistant (1 Post)
