Starke Ayres is the foremost African specialist and global supplier of premium vegetable, flower and lawn seed varieties – both for commercial and home garden planting. The following position has become available for a General Worker in our Cleaning Plant, based in Kempton Park. The purpose of this role is to assist under supervision with the cleaning of simulation samples and small seed lots and to assist, where required by instruction from management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under supervision from the Cleaning manager and Senior Machine Operator: Clean simulation samples for QC tests.
- Under supervision from the Cleaning manager and Senior Machine Operator: Clean small and medium seed lots.
- Ensure simulation machines are cleaned and inspected before work commence and report any machine faults to Cleaning Manager.
- Assist with bi-annual stock take
