Location: Mopani District: Mopani North
Requirements: Grade 8 / ABET level 2 or equivalent qualification. Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Proficient in reading and writing. Knowledge of security services. Strong communication skills. Excellent interpersonal relations. Ability to write reports.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular manual farming tasks.
Monitor the movement of cloven-hooved animals.
Stop, register, and search vehicles in the redline area.
Inspect meat, dairy products, dung, grass, hides, skins, etc.
Confiscate listed products if necessary.
Open and close the gate.
Report confiscated products to the supervisor.
Conduct fence patrols.
Check and repair fence breakages.
Track animal footprints along the redline fence.
Clear bushes along the redline fence.
Manage quarantined animals.
Verify permits for quarantined animals.
Coordinate with the Animal Health Technician for inspections.
Maintain records and registers for permits, quarantined animals, and vehicle movement.
