Position Overview:
Hollywoodbets is seeking three enthusiastic Cashiers to join the team in Umhlanga. The role involves processing customer orders both telephonically and in-person, ensuring high standards of customer service and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and thank customers, maintain a proactive and positive demeanor.
- Present menus, answer questions, and recommend daily specials.
- Promote food and beverage items and ensure timely presentation of orders.
- Address customer complaints efficiently and log them accordingly.
- Operational Duties:
- Adhere to uniform and dress code standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the takeaway area.
- Prepare and submit stock requisitions timely.
- Ensure fridges are stocked and stock rotation is maintained.
- Verify and manage cash floats.
- Order Management:
- Process orders using the GAAP POS system.
- Follow up on kitchen delays and communicate order status to customers.
- Reconcile sales and payments accurately.
- Additional Duties:
- Follow internal procedures for personal purchases.
- Perform any ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Preferred Experience:
- 1 year of cash management experience.
- Experience with the GAAP system.
- Stock management and food & beverage industry experience.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and reliability.
